Ann and Bob Clements have agreed again to organize the Shoe Box Christmas Project, sponsored by the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief Organization.   Shoeboxes are filled with small gifts  for a child aged 2-14 and given to children in need around the world, over 47 million since 1990.

     There will soon be information sheets & stickers available for you to mark your box. You will have the option of filling it for a boy or girl. These boxes will be collected and distributed to children in impoverished or war-torn countries - so be conscious of not purchasing threatening looking toy guns or knives. Also, please do not include candies that will melt. A $7.00 check for each box is requested, as well, to cover the postage to deliver these boxes.   Please have your boxes to the church by November 11th. They will be picked up from here and delivered to a central collection spot.
