In Advent, we will hear the refrain "O Come, All Ye Faithful" as we light the Advent candles. We will consider the response of faithful people; the response of those who await their Savior. This Sunday, Isaiah prays the longing of the people, "O that you would tear open the heavens and come down." He knows, as the people know, what it means to wait in uncertainty, what it means to long for restoration, what it means to hope in God. As we enter this season, we find our invitation to PRAY.
