God acts with compassion to redeem the world through Jesus Christ--this is the hymn that Paul sings to the church in Philippi. The community is a tiny outpost of the glory to come, when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Jesus as Lord. Yet Paul encourages a posture of humility and obedience that mirrors the humility and obedience of their Lord. How might sharing in the "mind of Christ" move in and through us for the sake of the gospel?
