First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange Texas

On All Saints Sunday, we remember those who have died during the year and entered the Church Triumphant. We believe Paul's testimony that they have been enveloped in "the glorious blessings" that one day will be ours "together with all the saints." Paul calls all members of the church "saints" — no halo required. He testifies that, in Jesus Christ, we are adopted by God and become kinfolk to each other. Nothing breaks these bonds, not even death. THIS is our hope—that God's promise transcends human circumstance because it is vested in God's unfailing love.
